2. User Accounts

Account Creation

You must provide accurate information and maintain the security of your account. You are responsible for all activities under your account.

Eligibility

• Must be at least 18 years old or have parental consent
• Must provide accurate and complete registration information
• Must not create multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions

3. User Content & Intellectual Property

Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you create. By posting content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive license to use, display, and distribute your content on the platform.

Prohibited Content

• Copyrighted material without authorization
• Hateful, discriminatory, or offensive content
• Spam or deceptive material
• Malware or malicious code

4. Instructor Terms

Revenue Sharing

90% to instructor, 10% platform fee (plus payment processing fees ~2.9%)

Instructor Responsibilities

• Create original, high-quality content
• Comply with course standards (see Course Standards)
• Respond to student questions within reasonable timeframes
• Maintain accurate course descriptions

5. Payment & Refunds

Pricing

Instructors set their own prices. All payments are processed securely through Stripe.

Refund Policy

30-day money-back guarantee if:

• Requested within 30 days of purchase
• Less than 30% course completion
• Course does not match description

6. Prohibited Conduct

You may not:

• Violate laws or regulations
• Harass, abuse, or harm others
• Share account credentials
• Scrape or data mine the platform
• Circumvent security measures
• Resell or redistribute course content

7. Privacy & Data Protection

We are GDPR compliant and AI Act certified. See our Privacy Policy for details on how we collect, use, and protect your data.

Your Rights

• Access your personal data
• Request data deletion (right to be forgotten)
• Data portability
• Opt-out of marketing communications

8. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account for violations of these terms. You may close your account at any time through account settings.

9. Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. Maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid in the 12 months prior to the claim, or $100, whichever is less.

10. Dispute Resolution

Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law. You waive the right to class action lawsuits.
